It seems like nearly everything I paint or take a picture of gets changed or removed or destroyed. Like the Boot Country shop on Broadway in downtown Nashville: they’ve completely changed their signage so it looks nothing like it did before. It seems that so many places are ditching the old signs for new ones with far less personality. C’est la vie.

I guess it looks a little bit nicer now, but it doesn’t have the charm it used to. Call me old and cranky.
